Corporate Social Responsibility

Recognizing its responsibility and commitment to the local community and the wider range of stakeholders, My Adventure has integrated Corporate Social Responsibility practices that promote sustainable development and align with the goals and values of our society.

Guided by the principles of reliability, trust and transparency, My Adventure actively supports cultural and social organizations, participates in development programmes that foster cooperation and growth, and maintains an ongoing dialogue with local communities, recreational participants and athletes.

Together, We Can Make a Difference (Oloi mazi mporoume)

My Adventure once again actively participated in a celebration of human determination and solidarity, held as part of the initiatives of the non-profit organization “Oloi Mazi Boroume” (Together We Can), in collaboration with SKAI TV. My Adventure provided the event with technical and digital support, as well as dedicated personnel to assist with the organization of the race.

More than 1,000 runners took part for a good cause, competing in the 10 km and 5 km races along a scenic route by Lake Marathon on 29 October 2017. For the first time, the event also featured a 5 km power walking race, successfully rounding off this celebration of sport and solidarity.

“We Race for ELEPAP’s Brave Children. We Run 1+1”

At a major event held at the Zappeion Megaron in Athens on 15 October 2017, My Adventure, in collaboration with ELEPAP and ZAGORI Natural Mineral Water, undertook the complete logistical support and organization of the race. Approximately 600 participants took part, running or walking alongside a person with a disability or one of their loved ones.

The event received the active support of leading companies and organizations, including the Athens Medical Group, AIG Insurance, The Newtons Laboratory advertising agency, Golden Hall, Dream Tent, GEON Environmental Energy, Access One – Three Hearts Super Bars, Dynamic Team and Chiquita. ANT1 served as the event’s media sponsor, with Kathimerini, Down Town magazine and Real FM as media supporters.

KETHEA Epirus

International Day Against Drug Abuse – 26 June 2017

KETHEA, Greece’s largest network of drug addiction treatment and social reintegration services, organized a series of open events across the country, with the support and active participation of local communities, to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse.

My Adventure, as a supporter of this initiative, actively contributed to the concert held in Ioannina at the open-air theatre of the Society for Epirotic Studies (E.H.M.) on 25 June 2017, by purchasing invitations that were distributed to the public, as well as additional tickets to provide financial support to KETHEA Epirus.

"Floga"

Association of Parents of Children with Cancer

“Floga” has been active for 25 years and today supports thousands of families across Greece, with offices and representatives in the country’s major cities. My Adventure and the Zagori Mountain Running 2016 community made financial donations in support of the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer, contributing to its important work while also encouraging the local community to support similar initiatives.

Marathon of Life

“Orama Elpidas” Association and “Marathon Team Greece”

The initiative aims to raise awareness among as many people as possible through running events across Greece and to increase the number of volunteer bone marrow donors.

My Adventure and the Organizing Committee of Zagori Mountain Running 2017 responded to the call for collaboration with the “Orama Elpidas” Association and “Marathon Team Greece”, bringing the race into the “Marathon of Life” initiative. With a community of more than 4,000 people — including athletes, spectators, members of the local Zagori communities, organizers and volunteers — Zagori Race became a strong link in the Marathon of Life chain. At the start and finish areas in the villages of Tsepelovo and Kipoi, in the Zagori region of Ioannina, where ZMR takes place, participants had the opportunity to register as volunteer bone marrow donors and receive information from members of the “Marathon of Life” initiative.

European Cooperation Day 2017

INTERREG V-A “Greece–Italy 2014–2020” Cross-Border Cooperation Programme

European Cooperation Day celebrates the benefits of European Territorial Cooperation for people across Europe. Each year, more than 70 Territorial Cooperation Programmes take part in European Cooperation Day, with over 250 events held across Europe. In 2017, My Adventure undertook the organization of the events on behalf of the Region of Epirus, including a cycling race and a recreational bike ride entitled “Cycling Together Around Europe”. The event took place at the Logarou Lagoon, starting from the Port of Koronisia in Arta, on 14 October 2017.

At the same time, a climbing wall was set up for children and adults under the guidance of a qualified instructor, while special gifts and commemorative items were designed for the winners and participants. A guided tour of the Amvrakikos Wetlands National Park was also provided by the Director of the Management Authority, and the day concluded with a meal at the Port of Koronisia, featuring local dishes and products.

The INTERREG V-A Greece–Italy 2014–2020 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme is implemented by the Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes of the Ministry of Economy & Development.
