Zagori Mountain Running is born!
The 1st Zagori Mountain Running (ZMR) takes place, with fewer than 150 participants in total! Yet those first moments, together with the encouragement and support of the people, gave us the strength to keep moving forward in the years that followed. The Ioannina Cycling Club joins forces with us to organize the Mitsikeli Cycling Climb.

The 1st Zagori Mountain Bike (ZMB), featuring two races: 31 km & 54 km.
Road Races
The 1st 10 km Night Race, “Night Lake Run” (later renamed “Ioannina Half Marathon”), takes place in the city of Ioannina. The 18.5 km “Naios Dromos” race takes place in Ancient Dodona. This marks the beginning of partnerships with local authorities, sports and cultural associations, and non-profit organizations across Greece for the organization of races with the support of My Adventure.
The Growth of ZMR
ZMR reaches 1,900 athletes, while ZMB attracts 170 participants.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks within the framework of the “Interreg Greece–Albania 2014–2020” programme.
Continuous Growth!
ZMR surpasses 2,000 participants, with athletes from 40 countries.
The Mitsikeli Cycling Climb sets a new participation record, as well as a new course record.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Economy & Development within the framework of the “Interreg Greece–Italy 2014–2020” programme for European Cooperation Day.
My Adventure takes over the management of the Anilio Ski Resort – Municipality of Metsovo. The ski resort undergoes a major transformation, including a complete renovation of its facilities and the creation of ANILIO PARK. Official opening: 31 December 2017.
